Meet the 2019 Interns!

Meet the 2019 Interns! Our interns’ first week has been hectic to say the least! They arrived on Happy Valley soil just a week ago and since then they have gone through Myers-Briggs Type Indicator with Dr. Lisa, Ropes Course training with Apex Adventures and Challengeworks, they’ve learned the ins and outs of housekeeping, hospitality, […]

Crunch Time

With our final days at Happy Valley among us, we have hunkered down in the Intern Cave to beautify and finalize our presentation. Everything is coming along in the dungeon for the presentation. The lounge however, could use some cleaning (and our room…mostly my half…sorry Carly). We’ll get to that…soon. Deuces, L-Dawg

Despicable.

Dear readers, To say that I’ve been waiting all summer to go and see Despicable Me 2 would be a serious understatement.  There came a point in time that I had a countdown til the days it would be out in theaters, and yet when that glorious day came, sadly we were unable to go […]

HVCC Intern(ational) Women of Mystery

The Mystery Spot. What is it? An optical illusion? A hoax? SORCERY??? Probably the latter. I’m all about the magic. Or as Josh Shipley refers to it as-one of the “believers”. In any case, we, the interns, took a lovely adventure with our GU pals Alex Cash, his wife Bri, and Brian Anders to the […]
