(I hope you aren’t lactose intolerant)…dary.

Occasionally, in transition from camp to camp, we have something epic. Something awesome(r than usual). Yes my friends, I’m talking about a day off! Crazy right? Who would unleash these savage interns into the wild?!

Especially after Tim put us through   Ninja Training. HIYA!

In all seriousness, we’ve had some pretty epic evening/day off excursions since coming to Santa Cruz.

Some of my favorite adventures so far include (but aren’t limited to):

The Penny Ice Creamery (on multiple occasions). They make fresh ice cream from local ingredients that are 50 shades of delicious. Always.

We also went out for Nelda’s Birthday, the first of many in the Happy Valley family (Antonia and I turn 21 this summer, and Baby Brookie turns 20). Nelda chose Chocolate as our destination. It was di-vine. The hot chocolate was liquid joy, as were the several chocolate cakes, pastries, and gelato that we devoured.

One of our most recent outings included the ladies gettin’ fancy and going out with Nelda, her friend, and her hip grandma to hit the town! We saw the Bling Ring and ate tasty Mexican food.

The real Bling Ring. Just kidding, we have actual aspirations.

The other day Brooke, Antonia, and I went to see World War Z with Tim and Lisa (Jeff was in Grand Cayman while Carly and Nelda are at Camp Cronberg for Jr. High Camp). Images from that experience were too scary to be photographed, as Tim and Lisa took us back to Happy Valley down a windy road and proceeded to freak us out by pretending to be zombies.

Our next big adventure: San Francisco. Watch out world!
