Dear readers,
To say that I’ve been waiting all summer to go and see Despicable Me 2 would be a serious understatement. There came a point in time that I had a countdown til the days it would be out in theaters, and yet when that glorious day came, sadly we were unable to go see the premiere. Weeks passed and I was beginning to fear my first viewing of this long awaited flick would end up being through Redbox, but yesterday, my dreams became a reality.
The time was set…9:15pm at Scotts Valley theater. Our only problem was that Crossfit Jeff hadn’t seen the first Despicable Me, totally embarrassing, but we forgave him and gave him the whole day to view the first one so that he’d be prepared for the magic awaiting him that night. During the last quarter of the movie, we thought it was necessary to brainstorm the various characters we wished we could show up dressed as. Obviously we all decided we’d be the minions and therefore Jeff would be Gru, and just as Lynley suggested that Tim would make a perfect Vector, this scene was playing…. http://youtu.be/s4sLZOmrvEs

Anywho, after raiding Target of all their candies, blueberries, and goldfish we were off to the movies. Needless to say we did not stop laughing through the entire movie. Despicable Me 2 was a great success and is HVCC intern approved.
