Position: Part-time Maintenance
Happy Valley Conference Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time person to do routine maintenance of the facility. Happy Valley is a year-round operation with 165 beds and conference rooms located on 30 acres in Santa Cruz, California. The facility serves more than 11,000 camper days per year. Current staff includes 2 full time managers and up to 20 part time staff.
Position Summary:
Responsible to the Guest Services supervisor. Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and flexible hours. Familiar with all areas of building maintenance including electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
Qualifications:
- Must have background in building trades or have been an assistant in this field.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Candidate will go through fingerprinting and youth worker certification process.
- Requires a self-motivated person with initiative and friendly, courteous personality.
- Candidate should be able to recognize and develop a respect and sensitivity to the heritage of Happy Valley which is rooted in the Community of Christ church.
