In case you are not aware of who Charlie is she happens to be a dog that belongs to one of the fellows at Happy Valley named Jeff, or Cross Fit Jeff as he has been referred to in one of my past posts. Everyone here at Happy Valley cannot help but love Charlie. I even like to think of her as the unofficial mascot for the intern team. So far my request for a t-shirt with her face on it has been denied.
On Charlie’s birthday every year (since…well last year), she gets an ice cream cone from Burger King. When Jeff told us that today was her birthday we were all excited to celebrate and insisted on going with him to Burger King.
I must admit that we probably looked a little silly in the Burger King parking lot cheering and video taping a dog eating an ice cream cone , but hey gotta do what you gotta do for the birthday girl.
Charlie also joined us for a little birthday walk as we mapped some of the trails. She is an excellent walking companion and loves to pick up sticks (that are sometimes larger then your body).
So this blog post is to celebrate Charlie! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!!!!
