Directions:
From South: The easiest is to take Highway 1 north to Santa Cruz; take Ocean Street Exit; Left on Water; Left on Market which then curves to the right; continue to stop sign. Road then becomes Branciforte Drive. Continue on Branciforte Drive 3 miles (past the Mystery Spot), turn right into Parking lot (indicated by sign)
OR Take Morrissey Blvd exit; before you cross over the freeway turn Right out of the exit and then immediately turn Left onto Rooney St which will end and turns (Right) into Gilbert Ln; turn Left at Goss Ave; cross over N Branciforte Ave and continue down small hill to Branciforte Dr; turn Right and continue on Branciforte Drive 3 miles, etc., same as above.
From North: The easiest is to continue on Highway 17 until you reach Santa Cruz; take Ocean Street exit and follow "From South" directions as above
OR Take Highway 17 south to Scotts Valley; take the first Scotts Valley exit (Granite Creek); turn left at stop light at end of exit; turn left again at very next stoplight (takes you back over freeway); turn right at next stoplight onto Granite Creek and continue up hill; stay on Granite Creek (it will turn to the right at the top, then to the left) through the redwoods until it ends at Branciforte Drive (There are a couple of stop signs along Granite Creek for one-lane sections—drive carefully); at last stop sign turn right on Branciforte Drive; Happy Valley is 1.4 mile up the road on the left,
