Today Bethany and I decided to be a a couple of Lewis and Clarks and explore the trail leading deeper in the Happy Valley campgrounds. We decided to be ambitious and jog the trails but our steam ran out quick as the trail hills got steeper and steeper. During our run we got off course of the trails we intended to take and had to add a couple of detours to our adventure because most of the trails are unfortunately overgrown. Hopefully while I am here and get more familiar with the trails I can come up with a solution for the jungle madness so our campers will not have to bush-wack like Bethany and I did. But when Bethany and finally huffed and puffed our way to the top the site was not disappointing. On top of the world over looks the thick forest. It is a great place to sit on the little wooden bench and just breathe in peace and in my case catch my breath! It a must for all campers to see!
